Annual Salary: $65-85k depending on experience
COBS Bread is seeking a meticulous and proactive Lead Supply Chain Analyst to enhance our Supply Chain team. This role is vital in supporting the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, focusing on supply chain functions across all COBS Canadian bakeries.
Your contributions will be crucial in driving the continuous enhancement of our supply chain processes. You will be tasked with implementing innovative methodologies and analytics to boost operational efficiency. Furthermore, you will oversee the acquisition of premium ingredients and equipment, ensuring our bakeries are well-equipped to produce exceptional products for our customers. Your efforts will play a significant role in our mission to deliver joy through our baked goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance reporting frameworks, converting raw data into visually engaging dashboards and scorecards that reflect our distribution and supplier relationships.
- Lead automation initiatives within our supply chain management, optimizing projects and tasks for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and manage advanced contract utilization systems, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and pricing audits to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and standardize procurement tools and templates to streamline processes.
- Source and secure high-quality ingredients, packaging, and equipment.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, performing regular supplier evaluations to uphold our standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with franchisees, keeping them informed and engaged with supply chain updates.
- Address bakery feedback, acting as a liaison to elevate franchisee concerns and enhance supplier collaboration.
- Embrace a variety of responsibilities as needed to support our growth and success.
Qualifications:
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, or procurement.
- Bachelor's degree or certifications in business, logistics, operations, procurement, or a related field is preferred.
- Supply Chain Management Professional designation is advantageous.
- Experience in the food service industry, franchise, or retail environment is a plus.
- Proficiency with business analytics tools and interpreting complex data sets.
- Demonstrated success in improving business processes and procedures.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
