Job Summary

Interload Truck Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations in a professional and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willing to train and possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules.
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Interload Truck Service Ltd., you can expect to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to travel extensively, both within and outside of the country, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
