Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, navigating mountainous terrain, and ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cargo.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances, often in mountainous terrain
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo handling
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle hazardous materials, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent overtime required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
