About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Pizza Fiamma. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
    • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a clean and appealing manner
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
    • Assist in the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and utensils
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Assist in the receipt, storage, and issuance of food and beverage supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve kitchen goals and objectives
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education or training is required, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential
  • Experience and Skills
    • No prior experience is necessary, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
    • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
    • Be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
