Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Fleming College. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our campus and its community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to detect and prevent potential security threats
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, providing security escorts and responding to calls for service as needed
- Provide emergency assistance, first aid, and other interventions as required
- Detect, challenge, and relocate unwanted persons from the premises
- Evacuate the building in case of emergency
- A valid security guard license and first aid card
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- A clear criminal background and eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid G Driver's license and clean drivers abstract
- Previous experience in security, preferably in a similar role
