Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our team at Pinchin Ltd. as a key member of our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's security clearances and ensuring compliance with government and private sector contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain organization, employee, and subcontractor security clearances
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial, and Private Sector security programs
  • Lead the administration of personnel security clearances
  • Provide education and awareness to employees on the corporate security program
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of security requests
  • Maintain company security files and documentation
  • Seek out assistance from government agencies for security briefings and training
  • Work with the contracts team to administer security requirements on subcontracts
  • Design and implement comprehensive strategies to assess, mitigate, and manage risks
  • Develop and maintain robust security processes and policies
  • Provide leadership and direction to the security team
  • Develop and mentor team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration)
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible leadership, administration, and coordination experience in a corporate or government setting
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial government contracting and security processes
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of successfully implementing security initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate complex risks
