Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for our computer systems, networks, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and IT services
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot software issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams
  • Perform routine maintenance on systems and networks to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with firewall configuration and monitoring
  • Handle desktop support tasks including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve system efficiency and user experience

Field Technician Requirements

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients in the field
  • Communicate professionally in English, follow Standard Operating Procedures, and promptly transmit job documentation
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware from various vendors
  • Resolving general IT issues related to jobs
  • Configure POS/Kiosk/Computer systems, swap parts and cables, and install operating systems
  • Follow detailed client/vendor instruction manuals to resolve issues
  • Conduct system upgrades and updates as necessary
  • Candidates must have at least 12 months of hands-on experience in configuring, replacing, and repairing PC, laptop, server, printer, POS, kiosk, or other hardware
  • Cabling experience, including crimping, drilling, and patching with relevant tools, is required

Requirements

  • Familiarity of LAN and network connectivity troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Legally be allowed to work in Canada

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$22.00 per hour and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
