About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at Soucy Chenilles de caoutchouc. As an Equipment Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative equipment solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include defining project requirements, planning and coordinating activities, drafting proposals and budgets, and overseeing the implementation of projects in our plant. You will also collaborate with various internal departments, communicate project progress, and ensure that client needs are met.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Knowledge of machine safety standards.
  • Experience in equipment development.
  • Knowledge in industrial mechanics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with SolidEdge or other CAD software.
  • Functional English to communicate with our English-speaking clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Strong planning and communication skills.
