Child Care Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Specialist to join our team at Jocelyn Nolasco. As a Child Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry
- Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep the household tidy
- Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their well-being
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children to promote their development
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to ensure children receive a balanced diet
- Supervise and care for children to ensure their physical and emotional well-being
- Take children to and from school and to appointments to ensure their daily needs are met
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children to promote their mental health
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
- Ability to work in an employer's/client's home
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
