- Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Transportation: Take children to and from school, appointments, and other activities as needed.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily activities, health information, and other relevant details.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional client service, responding to the needs and requests of the children and their parents.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in child care or a related field is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Security and Safety: Ability to undergo a criminal record check and provide references.
The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment, with access to public transportation. The work setting is in the employer's home, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Language and Work TermThe language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to the children in our care.
