Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and lead by example to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Manage Schedules and Reports: Prepare and submit reports, manage schedules, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
