Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to our clients, as well as developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply knowledge of financial reporting standards, including IFRS, GAAP and ASPE
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on financial strategies and planning
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred)
  • Completion of prerequisites for admission into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP)
  • Previous accounting-related office experience is considered an asset
  • Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset
