Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and level.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to secure tiles in place.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a precise and professional finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair surrounding areas as needed.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Install tile strips and other finishing elements to complete the installation.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials and tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:

As a Tile Setter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and noise levels. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
