Job Title: Public Affairs Manager
Job Summary:
In the role of Public Affairs Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Public Affairs and play a crucial part in advancing the Brand and Reputation Risk Program. Your duties will encompass managing public issues, engaging with community stakeholders, and bolstering the organization's brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of the public affairs and issues management strategy as outlined by the Brand and Reputation Risk Program.
- Collaborate on continuous monitoring and reporting of issues to assess their impact on the organization's brand.
- Oversee and participate in public engagements to effectively communicate the organization's narrative and enhance its reputation.
- Draft responses to campaigns from advocacy groups and other public platforms that may influence the organization's reputation.
- Support the creation of issue briefs, reputation risk evaluations, and reports for executive leadership and the Board.
- Evaluate and propose actions regarding speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of strategies for reputation management and crisis communication.
- Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including media representatives and consultants.
- Assist in the formulation and revision of corporate policies related to external communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in issues management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

- A degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public affairs.
