We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at 681291 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our payroll department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, and perform clerical duties such as maintaining filing systems.
- Benefits Administration: Complete and submit documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
- Employee Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and provide staff training.
- Payroll Administration: Maintain payroll, calculate pension benefits, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in payroll administration.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, and will be required to maintain accurate records and meet tight deadlines.
