Job Description

We are seeking a Managing Director, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion to lead our EDI efforts and drive strategic initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EDI strategy that aligns with CPP Investments' business objectives
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on EDI best practices to support CPP Investments' global workforce
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement EDI initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Monitor and report on EDI metrics and progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Employee Resource Groups and other stakeholders to promote EDI initiatives and ensure their success
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives in the areas of EDI, Accessibility, and Employment Equity
  • Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with the ability to leverage data to develop actionable insights
  • Global perspective, grounded in practical experience working with international offices and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
