Role Summary – Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager, based in our operational hub, will inspire and guide a team of managers and workers in the daily oversight of projects. This role encompasses comprehensive project management from initiation to successful completion, with a strong focus on safety standards. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a representative of the company, fostering positive relationships with management, site supervisors, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Overseeing contract administration, including managing submittals, change orders, and contract closeouts.
  • Creating and executing detailed project plans that encompass environmental controls, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
  • Proactively managing project timelines and ensuring timely procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors.
  • Establishing performance metrics to monitor project progress against established baselines.
  • Implementing change management strategies to address scope, schedule, and cost adjustments.
  • Ensuring project deliverables align with specifications and client expectations.
  • Preparing timely and accurate monthly progress reports and billing.
  • Collaborating with site supervisors to clarify subcontractor responsibilities.
  • Reviewing supplier and subcontractor agreements to enhance profitability and reliability.
  • Maintaining project schedules and quality control documentation.
  • Conducting regular project status meetings to address issues and develop action plans.
  • Managing project budgets and forecasting profitability.
  • Documenting lessons learned and overseeing project close-out processes.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent experience.

· At least 5 years of relevant project management experience in industrial construction.
