Job Title: Retail Stock Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Stock Associate to join our team at MADINA GROCER AND HALAL MEAT INC. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized stockroom, receiving and processing inventory, and stocking shelves with products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming inventory, including counting and recording stock levels
  • Stock shelves and display areas with products, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with finding products and answering questions
  • Work collaboratively with the stockroom team to achieve inventory management goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a retail or stockroom environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
