Partner Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Highway Specialist to support our client in the execution of critical roadway projects. The successful candidate will operate under the supervision of the project manager, playing a vital role in the planning, design, and implementation of highway and roadway initiatives. This position emphasizes compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.



Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support:

Assist in overseeing highway and roadway projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and financial constraints.

Engage with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and regulatory bodies, to clarify project requirements and objectives.

Contribute to the formulation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, while aiding in the monitoring of project progress to ensure effective execution.

Participate in the preparation and evaluation of engineering designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure necessary materials and services for project delivery.

Conduct site inspections and surveys to collect data, track construction progress, and verify compliance with project standards.

Assist in identifying potential project risks and challenges, contributing to the development of effective mitigation strategies.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports and correspondence, to support project management and compliance requirements.

Promote a culture of safety and quality within the project team, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering; CET or P.Eng designation is acceptable.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in highway and roadway projects.

In-depth knowledge of highway and roadway design standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in project delivery.
