We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor of Natural Resources to join our team at North Island College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing micro-credentials in natural resource management, with a focus on forestry and mathematics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality instructional materials and courses in natural resource management, forestry, and mathematics.
- Teach and mentor students in a variety of learning environments, including face-to-face and online settings.
- Design and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in natural resource management and forestry education.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as forestry, mathematics, or education.
- Minimum of three years of industry experience in natural resource management or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Proficiency in a variety of instructional technologies and digital tools.
