Essential Qualifications- A valid DVM degree or equivalent, permitting practice in Canada
- Strong leadership abilities paired with a positive, team-oriented mindset to empower our teams
- Exceptional diagnostic and critical care competencies
- Outstanding customer service skills that foster loyalty and trust among clients
- Effective organizational skills to maintain focus and perform under pressure
- A commitment to training and mentoring our emergency veterinarians and RVTs
The annual salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $150,000. Additional variable pay programs may also be available. The stated salary range pertains to the primary location of the position and may vary based on the successful candidate's work location or other factors.

VCA Canada's Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre, located in Lake Country, is a thriving hybrid and urgent care practice serving the Interior of British Columbia for over 35 years. Our facility features a bustling general practice with a diverse case load, including exotic patients, and expanding specialty services such as Rehabilitation & Pain Management, Dermatology, and Internal Medicine. We are committed to enhancing our emergency department to provide 24/7 services and are actively recruiting for Surgery, Critical Care, and Radiology.
The hospital spans 16,500 sq ft and includes eight examination rooms, a spacious treatment area, a well-equipped in-house laboratory, four operating rooms, a dedicated dental suite, a Philips Affiniti 70 Ultrasound unit, an Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner, and Sound SmartDR+CsI with hands-free capabilities.
