Position Overview

The role of a Building Care Specialist at Gulfian Resources Inc involves ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This is a permanent position that requires dedication and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment

The position requires working in various weather conditions, primarily in a motel setting located in a rural area. Candidates should be prepared to relocate if necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors and hallways.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash cans and containers.
  • Ensure cleanliness of windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors for larger repair needs.
  • Perform basic appliance repairs.
  • Execute safety and security inspections.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture and equipment.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
  • Care for plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Maintain hygiene in bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
