About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team at the Canadian College of Business, Science & Technology. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a secure and safe environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience an asset or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
