Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribing medical documentation, including reports for legal and review purposes
- Providing reception services, managing switchboard operations, and assisting visitors
- Performing data entry and maintaining client records
- Coordinating the organization of client files for off-site storage
- Tracking events and program activities
- Typing various non-technical documents
Qualifications:
Essential Skills
- Completion of Grade 12 education
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Transcription program
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient keyboarding skills at 60 words per minute
- Strong communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Understanding of Indigenous history and cultural safety principles
