Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribing medical documentation, including reports for legal and review purposes
  • Providing reception services, managing switchboard operations, and assisting visitors
  • Performing data entry and maintaining client records
  • Coordinating the organization of client files for off-site storage
  • Tracking events and program activities
  • Typing various non-technical documents

Qualifications:

Essential Skills

  • Completion of Grade 12 education
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Transcription program
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient keyboarding skills at 60 words per minute
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Understanding of Indigenous history and cultural safety principles
