Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rehabilitation Float Pool team at Salgado LLC. As an LPN in this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various rehabilitation units within our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation exercises, supporting patients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and procedures, empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of our patients and team.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • Current state licensure as a Practical Nurse, with a valid license to practice in the state of employment.
  • Recent clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, with the ability to maintain certification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
