About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to our customers, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Conduct financial needs assessments, identifying opportunities to grow and develop customer relationships.
  • Provide expert advice on a range of financial products and services, including banking, investments, and borrowing solutions.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, delivering a positive customer experience and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a financial services role, with a strong understanding of banking and finance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses, such as a Mutual Funds license and CIFP Diploma.
