Job Title: Part-time Professor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional who shares our commitment to quality and student success.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will teach the course entitled "Business Finance II" online and create a positive learning environment that accommodates students' diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles.

Responsibilities
  1. Utilize principles of adult education to actively engage students in the learning process.
  2. Effectively use educational technologies to support learning and manage grades.
  3. Develop curriculum that uses appropriate strategies and tools to assess student learning.
  4. Ensure that all course content is current and relevant.
  5. Work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  6. Work effectively with students, the program team, and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following qualifications:

  1. Minimum of five years of recent industry experience that relates directly to the topic being taught.
  2. Holds a Master's degree (or higher) in business or a related field.
  3. Possess professional credentials recognized within the financial industry.
  4. Teaching experience at the post-secondary level or within a business environment.
  5. Superior skills in verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  7. Track record in meeting deadlines.
  8. Experienced in the use of technology to support student learning and manage grades.
  9. Self-motivated and independent worker who also functions well in a team environment.
  10. Committed to life-long learning.
  11. Understanding of the Ontario community college system.
