Job SummaryThe House Leader - Residential Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and leading a support team to ensure the well-being and success of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate and manage day-to-day support services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a support team to provide high-quality care and support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day support services, including scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Provide guidance and training to support workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of individuals, including their participation in social roles and integration into the community.
- 2-3 years of experience in direct support work or a related field.
- Leadership and supervisory experience, preferably in a residential program setting.
- DCSP or related post-secondary education.
- Proficiency in computer programs, including scheduling and payroll software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current criminal record and abuse registry checks.
- First Aid Certification (level C).
This is a full-time position with hours reflective of the locations assigned. The House Leader - Residential Program Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The position involves frequent communication with individuals, families, and agencies, as well as collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.
