Fabric Receiving Clerk Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Fabric Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fabric inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and store fabrics in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inspect fabric rolls for quality and metering, and identify each roll by fabric number.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and document fabric widths.
  • Prepare fabric pallets for shipping and ensure all inventory is up-to-date.
  • Organize documents and filing systems to ensure efficient access to information.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Domestic production knowledge is an asset.
  • Forklift certification or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
