About the Job

T.B.R Services is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Metal Fabrication and Repair: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Welding Techniques: Utilize gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and ARC spot techniques to achieve high-quality welds.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Operate arc welding machines and gas welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be organized, punctual, and hardworking.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
