Job Summary

CENTRAL SPRING INC is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment, instructing apprentices, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment, including trucks and farm equipment
  • Instruct apprentices in equipment maintenance and repair techniques
  • Order parts and maintain inventory of necessary supplies
  • Adjust and repair equipment, including welding and testing
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads
  • Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves required
Work Environment

CENTRAL SPRING INC is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be working outdoors in a variety of conditions, including dusty, hot, and noisy environments. You will be required to lift and handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding role.
