Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

York Auto Collision Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor
  • Dependability, reliability, and organizational skills
