About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Assistant to join our team at Stratford Toyota. As an Automotive Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Technicians: Provide support to our technicians by moving tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help Tradespersons: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by our technicians.
  • Clean Machines and Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
