Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at Stratford Toyota. As an Automotive Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our technicians in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Help to move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
