Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Trades Co-op Specialist to join our team at Veolia Group Water Technologies and Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our pilot-scale water treatment technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Assist in the commissioning and decommissioning of pilot-scale water treatment systems.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and report any issues or concerns.
  • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of pilot equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding Veolia's safety policies.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software programs, including MS Office.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required; French considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA, with occasional travel to other countries.
  • Ability to perform light manual tasks, including lifting and using hand and power tools.
