Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Skilled Trades Co-op Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing in-house and on-site equipment service support for a variety of pilot-scale water treatment technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, valves, chemical dosing equipment, and online probes.
  • Collect and analyze water samples.
  • Communicate daily with project managers and report issues, concerns, or abnormalities.
  • Train customers' operators on the operation of pilot equipment.
  • Conduct daily activities in a safe manner that meets or exceeds customer and Veolia's safety policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or college diploma with water treatment experience.
  • Experience: Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, with water treatment experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard computer software programs (MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, MSOutlook).
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required, French considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA required, ability to travel to other countries considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform light manual tasks on-site, including lifting and using hand and power tools.
