Property Operations Manager

We are expanding and seeking a meticulous and motivated individual for the role of Resident Manager . This position is a fantastic full-time opportunity that requires living on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of apartment buildings, including rent collection.
  • Manage operational expenses effectively.
  • Provide exceptional office administration and customer service.
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the property.
  • Conduct and supervise all on-site activities in compliance with relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Residential Tenancies Act.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficient maintenance and cleaning skills.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Familiarity with HVAC system repairs and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment and innovative thinking.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and navigate stairs.
  • Proficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel, email/web) is advantageous.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience (5 years).
  • Prior experience in apartment rentals and tenant assistance is essential.
  • Background in sales or a related field is beneficial.
  • Understanding of residential tenancy legislation and landlord-tenant rights is an asset.
