About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Gold Leaf Home & Property Services. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closets and ensure that all cleaning supplies are properly stored and organized.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Sanitization: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as required.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, honesty.
Working Conditions

As a Housekeeping Assistant with Gold Leaf Home & Property Services, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our properties.
