Job Title: Guest Services Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees to achieve exceptional service standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to reach common goals and support team members in their roles.
  • Supervise and assist the Front Desk team as required, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and service excellence in all aspects of Front Desk operations.
  • Handle guest complaints and provide effective resolutions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the Front Desk.
  • Act as the property Manager on Duty as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Follow company and Front Office policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all fire and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Have a thorough understanding of key systems, including Onity and Salto.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, using clear and professional language, and answering telephones with proper etiquette.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, and providing exceptional service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional at all times.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Guest Services Agent or similar role.
  • Opera PMS experience is an asset.
  • High School graduation required.
  • First Aid certification is an asset.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to develop common sense solutions to everyday problems.
  • Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work with all employees to promote teamwork and co-operative relationships within and across departments.
  • Ability to provide ongoing coaching to staff to enhance performance.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Full open availability from Mid-May through the end of September.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
