About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Assist Fleet Technician to join our team at BCAA. As a key member of our Road Assist team, you will provide friendly and professional roadside mechanical assistance or towing services to members of BCAA and affiliated clubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Member requests for roadside assistance, including mechanical repairs, battery boosts, tire changes, lockout services, and towing
  • Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and resolve appropriate solutions
  • Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion
  • Assist in all weather conditions, ensuring a positive Member experience throughout the assistance process
  • Promote BCAA memberships and general information about affiliate products and services
  • Report any issues and take the initiative to resolve them, seeking support as needed
  • Uphold BCAA service and safety standards by ensuring BCAA vehicles, equipment, and tools are kept clean, orderly, and in good working condition
Requirements
  • Completed high school diploma, preferably with Red Seal Certification
  • At least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostics experience
  • Good driver with a clean BC Driver License Class 5
  • Capable of lifting at least 70lbs during Member service while prioritizing safety throughout the process
