Job Title: Personal Support Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team at Grace Villa Long Term Care. As a Personal Support Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Support residents with mobility and balance issues, including walking, standing, and transferring
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a long term care setting
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
