Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Aide to join our team. As a Personal Support Aide, you will provide personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Collect specimens
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Launder clothing and household linens
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
