Food Service Manager

Famstr Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management and customer service.
Famstr Ltd is a recognized employer that supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees. We offer a permanent work term with 30 to 40 hours per week, and a work language of English.
