The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Limeridge ARB Foods Inc. is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our fast-paced dining environment. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of food preparation and service staff to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
The work setting is characterized by a noisy and hot atmosphere typical of a fast food outlet or concession.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure proper presentation.
This position involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including:
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
Personal transportation is necessary for this role.
Work ConditionsThe job demands a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Employees should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
