Job Summary:

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled CONDO/CORES Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Personal Property Registry, Business Support and Common Business Number Hub, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of new functionality within existing systems for business processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Administration: Ensure the quality and integrity of data in the CORES and associated sub-systems.
  • Business Systems Problem Analysis and Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to business systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • System Enhancements and Releases: Participate in the planning, research, development, and implementation of system enhancements and new releases.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Conduct sessions to gather business requirements, analyze results, prepare reports, and make recommendations.
  • Acceptance Testing: Participate in acceptance testing of systems enhancements.
  • Cross-Jurisdictional Work: Support cross-jurisdictional work to understand and facilitate the transfer of data between jurisdictions.
  • End-User Support: Provide internal and external support services to end-users of the CORES and associated sub-systems network.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in a related field such as Public Administration, Arts, Business, or any other related field.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of related experience in registry systems/databases and their interfaces.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge and understanding of registry systems/databases and their interfaces, extensive experience managing competing projects and priorities within tight timelines, and effective facilitation, presentation, written, and verbal skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 4:30 pm. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
