Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance daily operations, focusing on transportation and service logistics.
  • Ensure cost-effective practices while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication among dispatch, drivers, and various departments for optimal scheduling and service execution.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for drivers and organize training sessions to uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution.
  • Coordinate driver leave requests while balancing operational demands.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including recruitment and performance oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience, ideally in waste management or logistics
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, the Highway Traffic Act, and safety protocols
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data management and reporting
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as necessary

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive in promoting safety and accident prevention
  • Adept at incident investigation and documentation
