Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance daily operations, focusing on transportation and service logistics.
  • Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and various departments for effective scheduling and service execution.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of driver performance and facilitate training to uphold safety and compliance.
  • Investigate and address accidents and incidents, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution.
  • Organize and approve driver leave requests while considering operational requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to personnel, including recruitment and performance oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience, ideally in waste management or logistics
  • Knowledge of WHMIS, the Highway Traffic Act, and safety standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data management and reporting
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as necessary
