The starting wage for a qualified Automotive Body Repair Specialist ranges from $35 to $45, depending on your training, certifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve repair orders from the Body Shop Manager and proceed to the designated work area.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance and repairs as specified in work orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding and completing necessary pre-paint tasks.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repairs or painting.
  • Execute body repairs that meet industry standards.
  • Communicate with the Body Shop Manager regarding any additional work needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the expected timeframe.
  • Provide practical guidance and support to any assigned Apprentice Technicians.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Account for dealership-owned tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Work safely and collaboratively with the employer to uphold health and safety measures.
  • Receive positive feedback from customers and advisors.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and on time.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.
  • Act as an ambassador for Rocky Mountain Collision at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Licensed Body Shop Technician.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an automotive body shop environment.
