Key Responsibilities:

Assessing and characterizing various construction materials in buildings that may harbor hazardous substances, including asbestos; Compiling a register for the management of hazardous materials and other dangerous substances; Overseeing asbestos removal operations and fungal contamination remediation; Collecting samples of various pollutants: asbestos, mold, dust, chemical and gaseous contaminants, and forwarding samples to the laboratory; Conducting monitoring of indoor and outdoor air quality; Measuring and monitoring noise levels (both indoor and outdoor); Drafting site reports; Managing and calibrating equipment; Supporting the team in completing various tasks to contribute to project success.

Required Qualifications:

College Diploma (DEC) or Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in civil engineering or technical training related to building and construction material evaluation, architecture, civil engineering, or industrial hygiene; A minimum of 6 years of experience in the field; Interest in Health-Safety-Environment compliance services, hazardous materials, and industrial hygiene; Experience in consulting engineering is an asset; Fully bilingual (French and English) in both oral and written communication; Dynamic and professional demeanor; An autonomous, resourceful, and punctual individual; Possession of a valid ASP Construction Card or commitment to obtaining it upon hire; Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; An autonomous, responsible, and organized individual; A desire to contribute to the growth of the HSE compliance group, working collaboratively with other compliance specialists across regions.
