Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at N S Kular Transport Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Ensure safety and security of cargo at all times
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Valid passport
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
